A s I skimmed through the Job Bank of the HRDC, other
things race through my mind.
Like should I look for the same jobthat I got laid off from?
Isn't it time for me to become the boss so I never
have to worry of being laid off again? Or do I need to
go back to school to learn new skills that can launch a better
career for me?
I could try a few manufacturing/production positions but I
had been there and honestly, I am more of a creative person
than a builder. I mean I find it satisfying designing something
rather than building a thing that somebody else designed.
I dropped off my kids at school today at 8:30 am and I am just
winding down from the adrenaline rush trying to juggle the time
preparing their food and waking them up, dragging them to the
bathroom and getting them dressed. Then off through the traffic
morning rush.
My wife outlined my daily schedule as I try to find leads in my
job search. I am suppose to pretend like I am working in an office
thus I am entitled for a 15 minute coffee break, a 30 minute lunch
break, and another 15 minute coffee break.
It is my 30 minute lunch break now so I am posting this blog for
today's development in my job search in which I have practically
done nothing yet aside from browsing through job sites in the
internet.
Tomorrow, I have to have at least 3 job applications sent. That is
my goal.
