I have started this blog because I am feeling so low today. I was laid off from work and I feel the whole world has come crashing down on me. My wife has been scared since I started a 6 hour shift last week. This was due to the fact that I had to work the morning shift since the company I worked for scrapped the afternoon shift. We booth work for the same company which was convenient for us as long as we worked in different shifts since one of us has to drop off our kids at school.
We decided that I should drop the kids at school, cut my hours, since my wife has the higher wage. Besides I just could not get my self out of bed early in the morning.
I had been trying to find another job for about a week now but has not been lucky yet.
So here in this Blog I am going to document my journey as I pound the streets to find a source of income to support my family.
By the way I live in a place called Hawthorne Park. I will be writing about this beautiful place later as I continue to blog.
